Ministry of Commerce Launches Public Telephone System for Business Queries

Phnom Penh: In a bid to enhance accessibility and foster transparency, the Ministry of Commerce of the Kingdom of Cambodia is set to unveil its public telephone system, designated with the number "1266," effective from Monday, March 11, 2024.

This initiative aims to cater to the needs of the business community and the general public, offering assistance on a myriad of matters including general information, business registration, trademark registration, export-import inquiries, consumer protection, competition, fraud suppression, and information regarding various commercial services provided by the Ministry.

The Ministry encourages all members of the business community and the general public to utilize this service for inquiries, suggestions, comments, and solutions related to the aforementioned areas. The telephone line will be staffed by professionals from the Ministry during regular working hours, ensuring prompt and reliable assistance.

Businesspersons, as well as the general public, are urged to take advantage of this resource by dialing 1266 free of charge for any pertinent queries or concerns. The Ministry is committed to providing comprehensive support to facilitate smoother business operations and promote growth within the Kingdom.
